He has extensive experience in managing high-risk newborns and is skilled in caring for extremely preterm babies from as early as 22 weeks of gestation. His areas of interest include neonatal resuscitation, advanced ventilation strategies (invasive, non-invasive, and high-frequency ventilation), neonatal transport, and post-operative neonatal care.

Dr. Tawab is proficient in a broad range of neonatal procedures including endotracheal intubation, PICC line insertion, umbilical catheterization, lumbar puncture, exchange transfusion, therapeutic hypothermia, cranial ultrasonography, and point-of-care echocardiography. He routinely manages total parenteral nutrition (TPN), inhaled nitric oxide (iNO) therapy, and the stabilization and transport of critically ill newborns.
